Adsorption of Anionic Dyes from Wastewater onto Magnetic Nanocomposite Powders Synthesized by Combustion Method

In the present study, new magnetic nanocomposites were successfully prepared by combustion method, characterized X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, measurements, N2 adsorption–desorption thermal analysis, and scanning electron microscopy, tested as adsorbents for removal of anionic dyes (Acid Yellow 42 Acid Red 213) from aqueous solutions. The influence process variables solution pH, adsorbent dose, initial dye concentration temperature on adsorption was evaluated. best kinetic model that fitted with experimental data a pseudo-second order model, equilibrium correlated Langmuir isotherm investigated dyes. Maximum efficiencies 98.54% 97.58% obtained 213, respectively, indicating superior capacity synthesized nanocomposites. thermodynamic parameters indicated spontaneous endothermic nature process.
